What a great idea - I'll have to try it even though I don't have a large one.

I'd love to know how your version of the brownies came out. I just made a second batch of these for my son yesterday. I wonder if the peppermint patties would make them chewier (which I like)...Monicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07439320856223502707noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6628445235517647413.post-19474317514529874082012-12-18T19:54:13.032-05:002012-12-18T19:54:13.032-05:00Hi, I just tried the recipe and its in the oven no...Hi, I just tried the recipe and its in the oven now. Doubled recipe. While I have Andes candies, and thats the recipe I googled (when I found this one), I decided to switch with York peppermint patties. Great so far.
I'll let you know how it turns out.
Arda

PS. My magic trick for cutting brownies is, once cooled, use as large a pastry scraper (like bench scraper) as you can, and cut straight down, remove, and cut next section. Clean cuts consistently w/o having to wash in between.Loretta Castorinihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15786176585647963404noreply@blogger.com
